Upcoming County meeting on Little Patuxent Sewer Line

The county will be holding a public meeting on October 24 in the
Banneker Room at 3430 Court House Drive to discuss the Little Patuxent
Parallel Sewer Line. Current sewers are near capacity so the county is
planning a parallel sewer pipe to be placed to remedy the problem.
This is a $66.5 million project that will include 10.5 miles of pipe
(6.5 miles in Columbia, 4 miles in Savage). This project will affect
six Villages in Columbia and the Fairway Hills Golf Course.
