Volunteers are needed for the 7th Annual Columbia BikeAbout on
Saturday, May 5. The BikeAbout is a free event sponsored by the
Columbia Association and organized by the Columbia Archives.
Volunteers are needed to assist with traffic control, directions,
registration and as guides along the 11-mile route which will lead to
various places of interest. Hours are from 8:30 to 2 pm with flexible
shifts available. A free tee-shirt and training is provided.

The BikeAbout is a popular event drawing several hundred bicyclists.
The route takes advantage of Columbia 's extensive and beautiful
pathways and uncovers historic and natural places of interest. This
year's route will take riders through Town Center, Wilde Lake and
Harper's Choice showcasing the history of Columbia, the rich mix of
development and open space and the connectivity of the path system.
