Okay to feed SCOBYs to cat?

My 8 year old cat has had digestive issues for the past couple of years. At one point, we thought he was going to die. The vet put him on once a week laxative and he seems to be doing okay. I am wondering if I could improve his digestive health by using SCOBYs.

My SCOBYs have been reproducing like crazy and I have quite a bit of excess. I am wondering if it is okay, to feed this to the cat by mixing these SCOBYs it into his cat food.

If this is okay, any advice on how much is safe to feed him would be much appreciated.
