Hello all,

One of my authors is just about ready to submit an article and is interested in going for public review. However, she wants assurances, if someone submits a spam/offensive review, that we have the ability to get rid of it. I have looked at the guidelines for reviewers and see that what she is referring to would be in breach of them, but there is no indication of what action we would take in response to such a review. What can I tell her we would do?

Thanks,

Eystein

Hi,

I agree that it's reasonable to say that we would immediately delete any offensive, libellous or plagiarism. I think we would also be well in-remit to remove anything that is spam, or clearly not a review (i.e. off-topic).
