First,I haven't read this book, but recently a few people have been rather insistant on merging my ancient/middle ages Saxon noble lines with a direct line that includes; (1) Jesus Christ, (2) Odin, god-king of Asgard, (3) the kings of Troy, (4) Noah, and (5) Adam,(all in the same line). At first, I sent a message that my Eilika was definately a different person. But when a Wiki supervisor started pushing to merge the two lines, I re-opened all my profiles, (I had closed them temporarily because they kept getting merged while I slept). And then I changed Eilika as the mother to Unknown Unknown, and Ordulf Billung to Unknown Anonymous, and removed myself from the trusted list of all prior profiles in that line. The line that I had was earlier confirmed by the office of Sir Andrew Lord Ware, Royal College of Arms, London, England. WITHOUT elves, Gods, faeries, or leprichauns.

why would you remove parents and then abandon the profile? seems to make the profile much less useful... if you have issues like this in the future I would suggest bringing it to the group for opinion instead of deleting half the profile and abandoning it

Travis, I understand the frustration, but changing to Unknown is not a helpful solution. WikiTree is supposed to be for all of us, so the solution is for this group to lay down the law that we're not going to have those connections.
