Xtians have not stolen our holy celebrations, friend.

they are still sacred and quite good.  what they have done is created a falsehood that cannot even be blessed by names like "bastard" or "hybrid."

a cheap ripoff of the Moon calendar Thoth created for the druids, stolen log ideas and rituals that they do not understand.

Pity.  Their God imself states that HE is Lord of the true Sabbath, rather than Pan who is thought to be that by so many gentle folk.

but as one who used to roll with that posse, i can do something to make it up to you.

The Yule festival is not even something officially recognized as necessary by the religion I practice, Discordianism, one of the paths in Neopaganism.

It was, I believe, Celtic, right?  Look at the suffering of the Kells under the hand of Rome, Bob,

and then think about all the OTHER cultures who have been tortured in the same way,

and you begin to get a sense of how many times the same pattern of invade-and-dominate has happened.

Each time, polytheism is subjugated by those who feign interest in the One.  But the One is the parent of the Many,

Bob, and that is why I renounced not simply the tenets of Christendom, but all monotheist (as well as monogamous) paths.

I wonder what you and the others reading this list think of that?
