How do I explain the feeling I had sitting in a circle w/ about 18
kindergarteners who all knew they were important to the success of the
whole group, knowing their place, excited to contribute, to work as a
team, to help their fellow classmates in the process of working
together to accomplish the 4 person push up...to accomplish what ever
is set before them.

There was one child who could not walk without the aid of an adult or
his walker. The teacher mentioned that he had added so much to the
class, only strengthening the group's need to work together to be
successful... the true meaning of no child left behind.

The Principal said the most important thing about ELOB education is
the school culture. This was so evident from the first moment I sat
down w/ the kindergarteners. The children were all valued for what
they
had to contribute. How wonderful to be in a school where each student
is important and endlessly receives the gift of contribution!
