to Why Offshore Medical schools
When one does premed over seas the degree may not "count" in the US as
far as US medical school schools. So if a US citizen does a 4yr degree
over seas or a 6yr MD premed they would be out of luck when it comes to
transferring or applying to a stateside Med school. This may be
reviewed on a case by case by each med school but with so many US
students with US degrees to choose from it would make it very
difficult.
