Hey all, a few months ago, or perhaps many months ago, Karen brought up the conversation about Facebook. At that time, I took the plunge. Someone suggested it is a good way to see what your children are up to, and it is. But I still didn't see the attraction. I did befriend a couple of classmates, had a wonderful "on line" conversation with Dan Nicholson, but I didn't understand the reason why this was easier or more fun than regular email. However, Mark Ungemach, '80, kept bugging me with different things to join on Facebook. I joined the 1980 class, and all of a sudden my world opened. After the experience of finding two different people, one from college and one from Westtown, whom I have not had contact with in 25 + years, I see the attraction of this online community. It really is fun! With each new person you befriend, you have the opportunity to find friends of long ago.
So . . . . you all need to join facebook. I'm not sure how to make a group for our class, but I know someone out there in our class probably does. Take the time now to join, and somewhere along the way, maybe, we can be more organized about it. For now, I think it's a good step towards a fabulouso 30th reunion.
