Hi WND!
Wow! These past few weeks have really been exciting! As you may know a federal election was called on Sunday so the club is gearing up to campaign mode. So much is going on and there are countless opportunities to become involved with both the club and party (hint hint). I'll be sending more frequent mass emails to the club for the duration of the campaign as last minute events are organized so keep a look out!

Below I've included a brief overview of WND and sister events please email me if you would like more info.
1) Thursday Sept. 11th 10:30am - War Resistors Leafleting on Concrete Beach
If you have time between classes please stop by and help out. The more bodies present means greater impact and more leaflets get passed out.
2) Thursday Sept. 11th 8pm - London North Centre Candidate Nomination Meeting at Tolpuddle Co-operative Common Room 380 Adelaide St. North
3) Thursday Sept. 11th 7pm - Irene's Campaign Kick Off Party! At 1700 Dundas St. (see flyer attached)
4) Sept. 15th - 19th - Clubs Week at the UCC. If you can help out by volunteering some time at the table please email ( rwi...@uwo.ca)me your availability ASAP. Any time you can give would be very much appreciated. Also, please feel free to just hang out at our booth between classes.
5) Sept. 25th - Western New Democrats AGM (more info to come). Please consider browsing our constitution ( http://www.westernnewdemocrats.ca/?page_id=911 )and running for a position. If you don't see a position that you want and would like to create it or would like to suggest a change to any of our club documents please email me ( rwi...@uwo.ca) with your suggestion by Sept 15th.
6) Sept 26th 6pm - Spaghetti Supper for the 75th Anniversary of the Regina Manifesto at Tolpuddle Co-operative Common Room 380 Adelaide St. North. This is also a great chance to meet the Ontario NDP leadership canidates! Tickets are $10 if you are interested please email me at( rwi...@uwo.ca ).
7) Sept. 29th - CBC's "Canada's Next Great Prime Minister" Just a heads Up on this one. We will be co-hosting a political debate/event with the campus Liberals, Conservatives (and Greens?) and I'd like to make our contribution professional. If you would like to be on TV now's your chance!!!!
