Hi all,

First, let me appologize for not holding a meeting at Crown, I spooged.

Now let me tell you what I currently have in the works.

I will be teaching a binding class at Colleguim in two weeks. I'll be
bringing enough sewing frames for five to attend the class.

The next Collegium we will be covering the books with leather.

For Arts and Sciences next year I've been in contact with a gentleman
who has a Guttenberg style press he is willing to bring and teach
classes about. There will also be a demo with a woodblock I am working
on. (This may or may not be done in conjunction with the College of
Scribes doing a scriptorum.) There is a stipend they need to pay for
gas etc. which the Arts Minster said something about helping with, and
the matter of needing some pavillion/sunshade for the press that needs
to be worked out, but no unsurmountable problems. The Arts Minister
loved the idea of the press and even building the whole event on the
idea of "Cutting Edge Technology". I am hoping to talk someone into
teaching One-point Perspective and Chiaroscuro in the scribal arts, and
maybe papermaking too. (I don't think I'll be teaching nxt A&S, I'll be
ready for a break.)

I'll be starting up a monthly meeting at my house again in November. We
can start with simple folded books, no sewing necessary. These meetings
would be a great time to get some one on one advice on any personal
projects.

So far every time I hold a meeting at an event I only get one or two
people, the good news is that they are always different people. If
people want to meet at 12th night we can, but I would advise against
it, the event is always to busy. Instead I would suggest Beltane.
