Author, poet, and playwright Jabari Asim, head of the creative writing program at Emerson College, will discuss his book of essays, We Can't Breathe: On Black Lives, White Lies, and the Art of Survival. Copies of Asim's books for children and adults will be sold.

Screening of Who Will Write Our History. The story of residents of the Warsaw Ghetto who buried writings and art on the ghetto property.
 

Saturday, April 27 at 1 PM
Discussion of These Truths and Screening of Slavery by Another Name, a history of the re-enslavement of black Americans from the Civil War to World War II.
