So all in all it was a pretty useless conversation. She's not going to
meet me at the house when i move in because she doesn't have the keys
so i can't even show her that the house is a mess. As we have all the
keys it's our responsibility to keep it clean not hers now. Ah well...
my sister and i will make sure it's fine when we go up - if we can find
out who has the keys!
Stress!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey anna, not too sure if you got my text the other day regarding the
keys, but our crazy old landlady only gave me katies key. as she was
arriving that day, and i gave it to her. not to sure where shes got
this idea that she gave them all to me! i am back up there next
thursday (15th), and i will assess the slug situation. one of the rings
on the hob is also permanently hot, but i have been trying my best diy
to fix it and i think its sorted. i am fine with you doing that with
the tv licence, as long as everyone else is, but i cant see a problem!
i will carry on searching about for internet service providers. im not
sure if chris told you, but i bought a freeview box cos it was dead
cheap, but the main tv in the living room is so old and shit it doesnt
have a scart lead hole, so i couldnt connect it!
Heya!!
Just about the tv... Anna didn't you say you had a tv and stuff we could use in the new house? If you bring that we can connect jamie's freeview box. I checked the contract and it doesn't even mention electriocity and stuff, how naughty, we'll have to ask her to find out who we are with. Hmmm i'm a bit worried about the hob situation. does that mean we are going to have a huge electricity bill from it being on?
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!! it is all so stressful!!
lots of love

Spoke to vintage lady again... she is sooo senile! I said that neither
Jamie/Chris have all the keys and she replied "Oh, well i must have
them then!" USEFUL! Anyways, she's going to meet me (and my little sis)
at the house on Friday the 16th and she's going to give me all of the
keys. As i understand Suzie is planning on moving in on October 1st so
i can meet her in London at some point between the 18th and 23rd (as
i'm going to Exeter on the 24th) to hand over the rest of the keys.
Hopefully that's ok with everyone, as i think it will be safer if the
keys are in one of our hands rather than hers!
My sister is a fantastic little cleaner, she is great and actually
enjoys doing it so if there are any probs with the house she will be
happy to help me sort it and it should be fine for when other ppl move
in. I don't think there is a hoover at the house so i was going to
borrow my one from home for that weekend, and then try and purchase a
cheap one from somewhere if there defo isn't one.
Oh and on the internet again... I have found (what i think is the best
deal yet!)
Go to this website http://www.homecall.co.uk/ukoffer/2mb_freecalls.asp
and click on the 29.99 a month offer - it includes an unlimited 2mb
connection, free local and national calls at all times (not sure if
that will include Nick's uni number.. but quite possibly). The
advantage of this one over the Bulldog is that there is also no
connection fee. Have been chatting to my brother (a computer whizz) and
he is going to look at what routers would be suitable for our needs and
how much they actually are just in case we can't secure the one that is
there cheaply.
OH and one more thing.... oh crap i've forgotten what it is! Ah well...
if i remember i'll post it... if not - enjoy the summer, and i guess
i'll see you on the 16th Jamie.
