val i share your enthusiasm - we have a 6 mos old weim named genie and
she just got a new nickname

Eileen,
Since I lost both Sparky's mom and grandma (Sparky and Glory),
Niki, great grand auntie has stepped into the role of disciplinarian
(she just glares at Joy and it does slow her down for a few
nanoseconds) and dog to cuddle with. Joy just really likes having a
weim to hang with...or try to harass....I've seen Joy charge at Niki
in the backyard and leap over her...kind of amazing how respectful she
is of Niki. Course Niki growled at her a few times and that kinda
took the wind out of Joy's zoomies...

val - our genie has her dad, hunter, to play with. she jumps over him also and will stand up to any growls he dishes out. but it's amazing how tolerant he is of her. and whenever grandma holly does take guff from the pup i am amazed.

Oops, guess I should introduce myself. Valerie Fare, Moonshadow
Weimaraners, had weims since 1973, bred many Champions, put 35+
obedience titles on dogs I bred or owned, live outside of Dallas, TX
with Niki and Joy. Niki is here for a long visit.

Currently am training Joy for her JH, doing agility with her, showing
her, doing basic obedience with her and going to start tracking with
her. She loves to retrieve and last summer taught her to swim, so a
weim retrieving test is in our future too.
