Does anyone know how, or if it's even possible to do mouse-over text,
or pop-ups? I'm trying to set up my links so that when I position the
mouse over them, a more detailed explanation pops up.
Thanks in advance!
Jeff

Hi Jeff,

If you are using WE-6 you can do this quite easily. Here are the
steps:

1) Open the inspector (you can do this by going to "view" on the top
left corner and clicking on inspector).
2) Select the text you want to add the detailed explaination" to by
clicking on it.
3) In the inspector click on properties tab.
4) Double click in the box next to the box the says "HTML Title".
5) A box will pop-up here is where you will type what you want your
"detailed explaination" to show. An example would be: "Click on link
to see the wide range of products this company has to offer"
6) Test the page how you normally would and put your mouse over the
text you added the HTML title to and you should see a "balloon" "pop-
up with the text you added.

This concludes the lesson for today! Good Luck,

J

Jeff,

I made a slight mistake on step # 5. A box will not pop-up, you would
type the "detailed explaination" into the little rectangular box next
to the "HTML Title" box. I have re-done the instructions for you
showing #5 step corrected.

If you are using WE-6 you can do this quite easily. Here are the
steps:

1) Open the inspector (you can do this by going to "view" on the top
left corner and clicking on inspector).
2) Select the text you want to add the "detailed explaination" to by

clicking on it (click only once, do not double click it).

3) In the inspector click on properties tab.

4)Click in the box next to the box that says "HTML Title".
5) Type your "detailed explaination" into the little rectangular box.

An example would be: "Click on link
to see the wide range of products this company has to offer"

6) Test the page as you normally would and put your mouse (curser)
over the
text you added the HTML Title to and you should see a "balloon" "pop-

up with the text you added.

This concludes the lesson for today! Good Luck,

J

Thank you so much for the detailed info! I'll give it a try hopefully
today. This group is the best.

Is there a step missing here? It doesn't do anything when I preview.
Shouldn't there be a point of origin that the text links to, or
something? Thanks!
