I want to add a fairly simple visit counter on my page that I can
reset. This is mostly for my own use.
Anyone have suggestions for a newbie?

BTW, glad I found this forum. I have picked up answers to many of my
questions by reading past posts. Good stuff.

what I did was make a box on the page like I was adding text to it but pasted the scritp in it using the same color text as the back ground and it worked fine.

You need a visitor counter to be hosted, use a free one like
statcounter http://www.statcounter.com/

then use ' insert dynamic link' to add it to your page

Hey Vic,

I registered for statcounter. I'm trying to use the invisible counter but
confused how I get it loaded into the site. Any advice?

Thanks,
Jim

Hello All,

I am wondering how you all are using pictures in your sites. I have finished
my site and have it uploaded but I left the gallery page "under
construction." Is there a way to have folders and once the viewer clicks the
folder it opens all the pictures for that topic up, then you can click each
individual picture for a full size? If not, what do you all recommend?

Thanks,
Jim

Jim, the strip of code that statcounter givesyou has to becut & pasted
in.
Go to ' insert / component /dynamic link .select 'next / yes I am a
member / yes I copied the code. Then cut & paste in the code ./ then
give it a name i.e. counter
then you have a placeholder stamp which you put on your page -usually
at the bottom, when you preview you would normally see the little
counter butif invisible I dont know how you tell its worked
