Page Size Revisited, Newbie Confused

Now that screen widths have changed, especially laptops, how can I get
my page to fill the width of the larger screens as well as the
smaller?

Do I set the width to the largest setting and viewers with smaller
screens have to use scroll bars?

What I've done with my sites is to change the page width to 1024. This
works fine with widescreen monitors. Scroll bars are necessary though.

Altho its not much use to users of WE6 the new version 7 has a
facility to
alter the page size to suit the resolution /screensize of the browser
thats downloaded it
