Zip file can't be read (permissions are wrong), no setup

This is potentially great software. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to
work with me. After having gione through all the initial steps (form
for database, php 4) I received a zip-file. I can extract that once,
but all I get is the form.form.php file in a new directory called /
forms. Nothing else. And the zip-file is not accessible anymore,
permissions unsufficient. I have tried the procedure three times by
now, with different forms, the result is always the same.

My system: Linux, OpenSuse 11.1

Any solutions??????
