It is that time again, if you can monitor a siren - please respond to this email.

Usual process is: I wait a couple of days to get the bulk of the responses and start sending out assignments, as close as practicably possible to your QTH. On Saturday morning, we start a pre-net at 11:30 to see if anyone can make it last minute. At 11: 45 we start the net and do a roll call. At 12 the sirens start and shutdown approximately 1 minute later. If your siren is still going after shutdown was announced, wait for net control to ask for any run-on sirens, else wait for the roll call. We are looking for sound, rotation (except for Dexter's fixed omnidirectional ones) and if any vegetation is actually touching the siren or control box. Listen to net control and they will walk through the process in an orderly fashion. As usual, if you have any questions, please contact me.

Thanks for your participation and 73 all,
