District 2 ARPSC Net
Time: 1700
Date: 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month
Where: GMARC UHF Repeater: 443.0750 MHz (123.0 PL)
* Objectives:
* Training
* Practice clear and concise communications
* Net discipline
* Provide examples of how we should communicate when supporting public safety and public service events
* ARPSC Information Sharing
* Provide a scheduled forum for communication of ARPSC/ARES, ARRL, … information from local, district, and section leadership
* Format:
* This will be a directed net, controlled by net control
* Transmissions should be disciplined, clear and concise, and well planned before pressing the PTT
* Please follow the instructions of the net control station
* The net will not be used for exercises (repeater failures, …)
* All licensed amateurs are welcome to check-in
* No early check-ins
* Check-ins will be requested in the following order:
* Section ARPSC/ARRL Leadership
* District ARPSC Leadership
* County ARPSC Leadership
* Licensed Partner Agency Representatives, ARRL Officials, NTS, …
* ARPSC Members by County
* Guests and other licensed amateurs
* Out-of-Scope
* Routine member-to-member traffic
* Casual Conversations
* Rag Chew/”What is your response to …“ questions
Member-to-member communications may occur and are encouraged at the completion of the net. Be Advised: There is another scheduled net at 2000 on this repeater. Please be courteous clear the channel by 1945.
