Hi neighbors! A flock of Anderson Trojan Band students (saxaphones & bass clarinets section) will be coming to our neighborhood on Wednesday, July 30th (around 5:15pm) at the earliest for their annual Flamingo Fundraiser! The band has a goal of raising $100,000 this year.

Every year, parents, students, local businesses and our community raise much-needed funds to support this award-winning music program.  This year the school district is providing less than 25% of the annual music budget.  The remaining 75% is made up by generous donations from people like you. 

Would you like for a small group come flamingo you lawn (for a brief period?)  They usually perform a few songs & tell you how your donation helps them. There is no minimum dollar amount!  This is a unique fundraiser that has been happening for around two decades.   Please open your doors & be entertained. Any amount you can donate would be greatly appreciated.

p.s.  They will probably stay mostly on Scribe Dr.  If you live on another street & want them to stop by, send me an email.  There are at least two young men from our neighborhood that will be in this flock, so show them some neighborly hospitality. :-)
