Flyers for 4th of July on the porch

Howdy Walnuts! 

The flyers for the Walnut Crossing & Milwood  Independence Day Parade and Picnic are on the porch at 12105 Scribe Dr..

Stop by and grab your street (or a few streets) to get the word out to all the new Walnuts in the neighborhood. Folks who volunteer to flyer will receive a free raffle ticket on the day of the event from the Walnut Crossing membership booth. 

Volunteers are also appreciated on the day of the event. Food line servers and folks to help set up are always needed. This is a great opportunity for highschoolers or scouts who are looking for volunteer hours. 

Parade & Picnic Schedule – Saturday, July 4th

9:30am: Gathering for Parade at Milwood Baptist Church (12217 Cassady Dr) All are welcome to walk in the parade & win the Spirit Contest – just show-up & fall in line.
10:00am: Parade Begins (Parade Map)
10:30am: Parade Ends at Balcones Park & Spirit Contest for Costumes, Bikes and Floats
10:30am: Music and Raffle Drawing Begins
11:00am: Lunch Begins (Burgers/Hot Dogs/Vegetarian Option & Cold Drinks)
11:40am: Raffle Drawing Ends

Free Amy's Ice Cream Scoops!

Boy Scout Troop 421’s Cobbler Kings will also be selling their award winning cobblers so bring a few extra dollars and Sno ATX will be there with their sno cone truck!

Balcones Pool will open at 12noon!
