Friends,

Looking at having an office/ den constructed in my finished basement and adding a half bath. Any recommendations on a good contractor who can do this work well and be relatively affordable?

Thank You,

Andrew

Sorry, Andrew.  I had a great "go to" guy, but he is no longer working in the business.  I am also currently looking for a contractor (to do my kitchen).   May I suggest that you post on Facebook on the West Windsor Peeps page?   There are over 2,100 people on that page, so it is a good place to go for questions such as this.

Good luck!

Virginia

Andrew,

For the past 20+ years, I have engaged a fellow by the name of Randal Sparks, who is an excellent contractor who can do everything from carpentry to plumbing and electrical and is affordable.  And he is a great guy who sticks to the budget unless something unforeseen appears.  He is normally quite busy so timing might be an issue.  You can reach him at 609-851-8851.

Farrell's recommendations are usually right on the money.  If his resource does not work, I have used John Miller, who goes by Alpine Home Improvements at 609-333-9700 for many years and his work is top notch.  Henry Murphy
