1. Study of the calmodulin (CaM) protein expression associated with
molting or cold acclimation
2. Expression of water channel protein in crayfish or lobster kidney
and cardiac muscle during the cold acclimation.

Major techniques required for the student to conduct above projects;
1. Animal care and dissection.
2. Total or membrane protein extraction.
3. Western blot.
4. Data analysis and presentation.
