String Fellowships
Available for this Summer!
Up to
12 full tuition scholarships available for outstanding string players.
Fellowships
will be awarded to outstanding string players between the ages of 18
and 20. The Fellowship Program is designed for
exceptional leader-musicians who have experience in community and
academic leadership.
Mentored by
EMF principal faculty, resident conductors, and Music Director Gerard
Schwarz, the winners of these fellowships will participate in a
leadership role in the EMF Symphony Orchestras and combine to form a
premiere chamber ensemble.
Throughout
the summer, Fellows will receive training from leaders of the arts and
business communities.
Recipients receive full
tuition, room, and board on the Guilford College campus.
