Once again WSU Athletics is partnering up with WSUiR to cover the upcoming softball games. Athletics can pay $25 per game for announcers and I *think* they will do up to 2 announcers per game.

Interested in announcing? Most games last 1 hour to 1.5 hours. There is setup and takedown time as well. AJ Whitaker of the notorious WUKAG is up for announcing many of the games but hasn't done it before and wouldn't mind some help especially from any veterans interested and especially for the first couple that he does.

Here's the schedule. The next game is March 20. We would broadcast the home games, which are in bold::

Athletics media relations staff could help training on softball rules, scoring and other nuances of the game.

I might be interested in this.  I am not a beginner, but I've never done this for sports, but I have played softball, if that helps!

Let me know if you need me,

I would be interested in this as I have done play by play for the Derby Twins summer baseball team and have also been interning with my dad (Mike Kennedy) who does baseball, basketball, volleyball and has in the past covered the Valley Softball Tournament. I am studying to potentially be a sports broadcaster and this is right up my alley and since I have some experience and know AJ I would love to know more details. My number is 316-210-1693. Please keep me informed!
