A SURGE IN iR ACTIVITY has given rise to a completely new schedule - there are almost a dozen new DJs on WSUiR! Check out our newly formatted schedule to see what's on right now... hey, you're already online, it'll take 10 seconds to get in the loop and see what's new. At your Halloween party Friday night, tune in at 9 to let the Lexicon Devil Halloween show and Liquid Sunshine Radio's John Zorn episode set a spooky mood.

COLLABORATION with past After-Midnight DJ John Crowe and WSU's Elliott School of Communication has led to fresh content and exciting conversation about the future of the station.

LIVE BROADCAST: This Tuesday, 7:30. WSU Symphonic Orchestra, conducted by Dr. Mark Laycock (always entertaining for our radio listeners). Gerald Scholl, WSU Assistant Professor of Percussion, will perform a timpani concerto with the orchestra.

YOU YOU YOU: We are also rejuvinated in our efforts to expand the functionality of our website to make it more of a community resource for listeners, volunteers and artists. Which brings me to you - as we're designing this resource, we'd like to create a site that truly makes sense to those using it. We'd like to color-code our shows in some way so you might scan quickly to see what else you may want to tune in for, based on shows you already know you love. For a genre-free station with DJs who program an eclectic mix, assigning genres seems a bit too restrictive. What would make sense to you? What would help you navigate our new (currently super-secret) site once it's out? We plan to include more local happenings and promote more community interaction through our online presence.

Please shoot your ideas our way (you can simply respond to this email and we'll intercept before it goes out to the whole list unless you'd like it to). Also, if any MySpace-Extraordinaires want to help us out, even the pseudo-Space-addict could keep us more present in that community than we've been lately. We'd love your help! We'll shower you with gifts.

Also, anyone want to interview Hanson!? Let me know. Soon.
