Hello all! WSU Spring athletic events have been broadcast on WSUiR for a couple years now and they want to continue the new tradition! If anyone would like to announce for the softball games, the athletic department pays a couple announcers per game. They also use the audio from our station for their video stream.
The first game is actually this week and there's also a tournament this weekend, so let me know soon!
We'd train and help whoever would like to do this if you're not already familiar with the setup. You could also be paired up with someone who's done it before.
They're looking for people who can get excited about the game - respond if this sounds fun for you!
