WSUiR peoples:
This week, in celebration of WSU's international students, WSUiR has
teamed up with WSU's
International Student Union (ISU) to bring
you some special international programming on WSUiR.
To kick it off,
WSUiR and
ISU bring you a
live
broadcast called
Around the World, tomorrow (Monday,
November 17) from 11AM to 1PM. Here's the schedule for that:
11AM - noon: WSU's own international student band Mediterranean
Night performs live at the RSC. Listen to folk songs from across
the globe, with a special focus on Spanish and Flamingo.
noon - 1PM: Listen to WSU international students speak of
their home countries and play favorite tracks of their indigenous music
Then WSUiR will re-air (re-Internet?)
ISU's pre-recorded show
Music
from Around The World on
Tuesday at 2pm and Friday at noon.
And WSUiR's
John Crowe, creator of our
Left of the Dial
playlist and
Lexicon
Devil Radio, has some Bulgarian Folk Music, Tibetan Prayer chant,
Middle Eastern, and some Cuban/Latin tunes for us all. Tune in for
those at
Wed at 10AM and Friday at 6PM.
That plus a
bunch of new
stuff.
Where you gonna hear this?
