Hello all,

Internationally-touring band Hanson is performing in Wichita Friday as part of their "Take the Walk" tour. At 2:30 this Friday afternoon, catch live interviews on WSUiR with Hanson band members and activists that have shown up to walk over a mile of the WSU campus barefoot to promote AIDS awareness. Pieces in the WSU Sculpture Collection will be featured throughout the walk, including the latest addition, Millie the Millipede.

We'd love to see you out there, getting your feet all dirty and stepping on those little tiny sharp rocks that you swear there's still remnants of left for weeks... if you're not up for the reality of the experience, you can at least listen to the people who are:

2:30 - 3:00 WSUiR interviews Hanson and hard-core walkers like you signing up South of the Ulrich
3:00 the walk begins and that mile will quickly have us too out-of-breath to possibly do live coverage... looks you'll have to be there to see it!

Also, can anyone help people sign up from 2:30 - 3ish? We could use your stunning skills at the table or helping with interviews.

P.S. We have tons of new programming... new DJs... old local recordings from the way-back days you missed because you didn't know there was so much amazing noise happening in Wichita. (Thanks John Crowe)
