WSUiR + Naked City + Front Porch Radio = Winfield!

WSUiR is talking with Naked City and Front Porch Radio about collaborative coverage of the Walnut Valley Festival in Winfield!

Front Porch Radio has been covering WV live via Internet radio for some time now, giving camp pickers more visibility. Now with WSUiR and Naked City collaborating with Front Porch, we might:

• give a daily "best of" Winfield
• offer more edited content, more interviews (James Gates is on board)
• focus on Wichita's local musicians

Maybe we should cover the crazy land rush with it's turf wars! Or let's cover some of the various events, festivities, and impromptu jams.

Want to be involved? Come work with us!

• tell us what we should check out. Where are the cool spots to be at WV?
• record some audio at WV using WSUiR equip, do an interview, then broadcast it!
• help us with equipment. For example, we need a WIFI wireless phone carrier card so we can broadcast live on the Internet right at Winfield.

How cool is this? Yes, I’d love to be involved in some way. We’ve camped for years and know some of the hottest jam camps, and I’d like to think we know a lot of the great Wichita bands that will be on Front Porch Radio this Winfield.
