Hello,

Eastern Oregon University is considering changing our new student application fee to a nonrefundable deposit that would be credited toward tuition.  Does any other school do this?  If so, how does your process work?

Thanks so much!

Hi Karen, at PSU (banner) we place a student attribute on the record that paid the deposit. We later credit the deposit using a fee table rule that matches a specific criteria: admission term = current term AND student is registered AND paid attribute exists. I hope this helps. Lucian
