I sailed Predictable Urge today. For me it was the first time sailing in three weeks. Long time. I went to the club in the late morning. Alone. Didn’t coordinate with anybody. Just went. Light to moderate wind. I checked in with a guy at the club who was helping with the sailing school. Then launched around 12:30. I saw a bunch of dolphins in the harbor. Probably 15 or more. They were splashing around. I parked the boat and watched them for a while. Then I sailed out to Rhode Parish area. Wind picked up to a steady 10 to 12. Sailed around for a while. Then I noticed another catamaran on the river. It was some sort of Hobie thing. It seemed like it was following me. It couldn’t be. I though that it must be my imagination. But no. He was definitely following me! Who was that guy? I had to think. I had to force myself to calm down. I was afraid my dark past was catching up with me. Goodness knows I have made many enemies. I thought for sure that this was how it would end. Then someone hailed me on the radio. It was Patrick. He was sailing his Everglades Challenge boat. I figured he doesn’t hate me enough to kill me. So, we converged and exchanged pleasantries. Then went our separate ways. Great day to be on the water. Good wind. Not too hot.

Great story, but left me wondering about one detail other than your dark past which I'm sure will come out in your next full size novel.  Did you get your boat up the ramp by yourself?
