I can’t make it, but if you happen to venture out to Thomas Point, you might get a glimpse of EAGLE on her way to Baltimore as part of SAIL 250  https://www.sail250.org

I was on her for OPSAIL 76.

Heads up from Heidi for Cat sailors to put our boats on the trailer before Monday if currently using two spots with boat on the ground.  Over 100 boats coming to Junior regatta on Monday.

Thanks,
Phil

Thank you Phil!

At this time we have 121 boats, 144 sailors, plus coaches and parents.  Registration closes Monday morning.

Hi Heidi, what time would you like volunteers (boat drivers/helpers) there on Monday?

Phil, Heidi,

This message is unclear. Simply because a boat is anchored to the ground does not mean they are using two spots. For example, my boat is normally stored on beach wheels in a single catamaran parking spot. I pushed it back several feet on Tuesday, anticipating a high level of vehicular traffic on club grounds for the junior regatta, so yes, part of my boat is currently occupying the spot behind it. If club grounds need re-arranging/boat removal etc. to support events, which is pretty standard at many clubs, I know myself and most of us are happy to support that, but we do need sufficient notice. 15 days seems reasonable, given that is the requirement to notify WRSC when our boats are returned to the club after an absence per the parking agreement.

Good luck with the event,
Sam

Sam,  the point was simply not to occupy two spots (one for empty trailer and one for boat on beach wheels).
