EMAILS TO RBI REGARDING OBJECTION ON SCHEME OF AMALGAMTION ANNOUNCED IN RESPECT OF GTB WITH OBC

Immediately on hearing about GTB collapse on 24-7-2004, a letter was
HAND DELIVERED to the Reserve Bank of India- Ahmedabad on 26-7-2004
followed up by email on 6-8-2004 and THEN ON 7-8-2004 (L1) to raise
the objections on the scheme of merger announced by RBI.
A further email was sent on 16-9-2004 to the Reserve Bank of India in
relation to my earlier letter dated 26-7-2004 and my email on 7-8-2004.
(L2) RBI HAS NOT GIVEN A DETAILED REPLY TO THE OBJECTIONS RAISED BY ME
. THE VERY NEXT DAY ON 17-9-2004, THE AMALGAMATION WAS APPROVED IN A
CABINET MEETING AND THE MATTER WAS NOT DISCUSSED IN PARLIAMENT.
