1. The functioning of RBI and all the entire government functions in a manner similar to story as under and treat the citizens of the country as vegetables :-

2. Sir, you are God Father to protect the citizens of India as well as children of India and time has come to open you eyes and listen receptively to the voices of common people and not play deaf , dumb and mute any more and you need to communicate and reply to my present letter in an open and transparent manner so that , we the people can know whether the RashtraPati genuinely cares for India and whether he directly intervenes and whether your actions have the power of your words.
3. Sir, The Prime Minister and its cabinet as well as RBI and its Board of Directors have proved to be the puppets of Ramesh Gelli and its management team of GTB and have behaved like Ostritch sinking its Head in the sand. I as a whistleblower making an attempt to expose banking fraud had taken initiative to expose banking fraud connected with GTB as back as 1999 and inpite of referring to vigilance department of GTB and investigation department of the income tax department . The dog that has to be faithful to the Government of India did nothing to bark.
4. Sir, without mincing words let me tell you openly, that you come out in open and demonstrate that you are a real man of substance and grit and a leader of true courage and not a Puppet President. You need to openly compel the Prime Minister and its cabinet and the Governor and the Board of Directors of RBI who have given a quiet and undemocratic burial to GTB and its management including Ramesh Gelli and thereby giving a powerful signal to the bureaucrats that the Prime Minister and the cabinet is always there to save bureaucrats and the wrong doers and pardon them of their acts of fraud.
5. Sir, you might be aware that while passing the bill of Independence for India and Pakistan , the opposition leader Mr. Winston Churchill said in the British Parliament “ Sir, you are giving reigns of such a vast country in the hands of such rascals, rogues that in India in very near future there will be blood shed. India will be involved into Political squabbles and not even a loaf of bread will be out of taxation and India will be ruined.
6. The way Gandhiji was killed, the way Indira Gandhi was killed, Rajiv Gandhi was killed, the way Bombay blasts happened , the way Godhrakand happened, the way akshardam happened all does not augur well for the welfare of Indian citizens.

Sir, even after this letter and the annexures contained here in , your blood does not boil to take action against Prime Minister and its team , then in the eyes of citizens and children you have lost respect and dignity as a RashtraPati. You are just a SENAPATI but you do not have effective control on SENA ( STORY OF SOMEBODY,EVERYBODY,NOBODY,ANYBODY IN PARA 1)and you are a timid soul , lacking inner strength to radically transform the administration.

Sir, your only course of action to inspire confidence in the eyes of citizens of India so that they can sing a song of India is to bring out Prime Minister of India and his cabinet out before the public, and the Prime Minister is called upon to question Ramesh Gelli and his management openly along with the Lordship Miss R M Doshit of Gujarat High Court who passed orders against me in the Appeal from order 176/2003 where I filed and appeared as party in person in Appeal from Order 176/2003 and civil application 3110/2003 where the decision was taken against me just stating “Heard. No grounds for interference is made out and hence dismissed” In fact the decision was taken by the Lordship even when no one had appeared on behalf of Global Trust Bank and no affidavit filed in reply to the grounds raised by me in the appeal from order 176 by Global Trust Bank and others. Core Health Care has looted Rs 12.5 crores from GTB and various financial institutions of Rs 750 crores. Inspite of all this he continues to amass personal wealth and carry on his business. Catch one large thief and the NPAs can be brought down immediately. WHY FAVOUR IS BEING EXTENDED ON SOME PRETEXT OR OTHER TO SUSHIL HANDA . THERE IS URGENT NEED TO CATCH THEM TO SAVE MILLIONS OF INDIANS.ONE CANNOT DIG A WELL AT THE TIME OF FIRE. helping the great bank robbers loot the banks and financial institutions can any Indian citizen of India be safe with you as captain of SIINKING TITANIC called INDIA !!!! . TIME HAS COME FOR YOU TO DO SERIOUS INTROSPECTION WHETHER YOU WANT TO CARRY ON LIKE THIS OR OPEN YOUR THIRD EYE AND USE WHIP ON THE PRIME MINISTER AND ITS CREW TO REPAIR THE SHIP METICULOUSLY BEFORE IT EMBARKS VOYAGE OF PROGRESS. As a citizen of the country , I am within my right to expect detailed reply forthwith from you and your Honour along with the Chief Election Commissioner would take steps to seek replies from each and every Parliament sansad members as there is hardly any sansad member who acknowledge letter and furnish reply. If such is the state of affairs , are they needed at all in a democratic country when they do not read emails . All of you as leaders want to openly take citizens for a ride. I therefore expect that suitable arrangements are made by your office that a copy of entire text along with annexures is made available to various sansad members so that they all can grill the Prime Minister as well as Reserve Bank of India. In case this is not done , the country is going to face a massive heart failure sooner or later as the Heart that is RBI and the PM’s cabinet has been damaged substantially. 1. I had sent email strongly worded email on 16th September 04 to RBI and a copy marked to President of India and the very next day the cabinet decision takes place in cabinet meeting. My email to RBI is annexed herewith . Kindly have a look to get the insight of objections to amalgamation etc. Annexure 3
2. Such acts by Cabinet approval clearly depict that the democracy is dead and is as good as raping the shareholders of OBC/GTB and the ordinary citizens absorbing taxes so that tax benefit is passed to OBC while allowing GTB management and Ramesh Gelli to go scot free while giving birth to bigger scams by various banks because they would know that RBI would ultimately bail them out .
3. Even BJP Rajya Sabha member Shri Balbir Singh had questioned the issue in Rajya Sabha ( Annexure 1) . I HAVE BRIEFLY ANNEXED MY COMMENTS UNDERNEATH . Kirit Somayia and Sushil Modi had also voiced concerns.
4. Even well known columnist Sucheta Dalal has made comments (annexure 2) and for detailed study book on creation and destruction of shareholder value would throw tremendous light on this subject.

6. I strongly protest as this is outrageous and insult to the citizens of the country. The hole in the Titanic called India cannot be concealed by RBI and the Cabinet . The hole has to be identified , repaired and sealed meticulously to prevent such reoccurrences again –as it has potential of destroying the country totally and Indian rupee would just become a piece of paper WHILE SEBI ALLOWING one rupee face value share at HIGHLY INFLATED PRICE TO LOOT AND FOOL INNOCENT INVESTORS.
7. It is therefore absolutely essential that steps are initiated by all the MPs unitedly that Government is compelled to withdraw such decision and the matter is fully debated in the Parliament by calling emergency meeting of Parliament . In case this is not done it would be presumed that either some of the prominent BJP leaders are involved or lack guts to fight back with all might. It is necessary all of you unite to fight back with all might forthwith when the iron is hot and the delay could be dangerous as India has already started sinking but everyone is keeping quiet. It is just like concealing live nuclear bomb in a room and telling people that we have taken all safety measures and there is nothing to worry.
8. For understanding of the matter of GTB one can get in touch with columnist like Suchetadalal at email site suchet...@yahoo.com and probably invite her so that all of you can simultaneously can understand the implications in the interest of people of India and unitedly form a platform to protest in a focussed manner so that such decision is withdrawn.
9. I think that experts need to be invited and the President of India need to be called also before allowing rash decision of Finance Ministry and Prime Minister . Such decision cannot be allowed on account of their vulnerability or identification and attachment of saving Ramesh Gelli and top ranking officers of Reserve Bank.
10. Please discuss the matter urgently with all party members forthwith to save citizens of India.
11. I look forward to your acknowledgement and the initiztives taken by all of you to unite and focus the issue before the President of India, Government , and Parliament as this decision is nothing short of emergency days. I am marking copy to the CEC also and the President of India too .

New Delhi, Aug. 18: The Union finance ministry has denied the charges levelled by BJP Rajya Sabha MP Balbir K. Punj against Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and former Prime Minister P.V. Narasimha Rao in the Global Trust Bank case.
"Government have noted, with considerable disappointment and regret, that in an article by Balbir K. Punj veiled insinuations have been made against the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and the former Prime Minister P. V. Narasimha Rao in the matter concerning Global Trust Bank (GTB). It is obvious that Mr Punj is willing to strike but afraid to wound, and that is why he has stopped just short of making accusations," said the statement issued by the ministry on Wednesday.
It said, "Nevertheless, the references to the Prime Minister and the former Prime Minister deserve to be deplored."

According to the statement, the GTB has been sliding since March 2001 till date of merger. If, as the author alleges, the GTB has burnt a hole of Rs 800 crores-Rs 1,200 crores, the hole was burning since March 2001. Shortly after the UPA government took over, the finance minister discussed the matter with the RBI governor and asked him to take suitable steps to protect the interest of the stakeholders, especially the depositors.
The RBI acted promptly and, after conducting its own enquiries, advised the government to impose a moratorium on the activities of the GTB, and this was done with effect from July 24. On July 26, a draft scheme proposing the merger of GTB with Oriental Bank of Commerce was proposed and a notice inviting objections was published. Within three weeks, the objections were processed, and a final order directing the amalgamation of GTB with OBC was made on August 14, the statement said.
BRIEF COMMENTS TO OBSERVATIONS MADE BY PANKAJ MODY
If you carefully, study the entire defense put forth by the Union Finance Minsitry with the consent and blessings of the Indian Government , you will notice that , the Government has cleverly omitted the word “ ShareHolder” and used the word “Depositors”. Now, if you care to try to find out the reasons for cleverly replacing the word “shareholder” by the word “depositors” , you will find that, the Government has been trying to befool the innocent citizens of India and the shareholders of GTB . ( who was born first ? The shareholder or the depositior ? The obvious answer is that the company cannot see the light of the day without shareholder. So the crucial question is that when the Government talks about the protection of the interests of the depositors only, then it is crystal clear that the Government has had criminally neglected the interests of the shareholders , who gave birth to the company –i.e. GTB and had nourished it till date. One more point , why the AGM of the shareholders of GTB was not called before taking decision. Why their consent or otherwise was not inquired into legally before abruptly declaring amalgamation . Is not the role played by SEBI, RBI, North Block, South Block ,etc not fishy ??? Can it stand appeal before the constitutional full bench of the Supreme Court???
The fact that GTB was sinking since last four years was very well known within the knowledge of not only RBI, SEBI, North Block, South Block, but also to the general public of the country. No action was taken against GTB as well as the fraud makers for obvious reasons to protect the interests of share holders and directors of GTB. On the contrary, every authority including SEBI, RBI ,NB allowed Ramesh Gelli and his associates to sale their shareholding in GTB (sinking Titanic) at lucrative price, this allowing Gelli and company to make GTB’s shareholders as paupers. This is abundantly clear as the OBC, immediately after this illegal,unjust and unfair amalgamation has lost no time to publicly announce that no shareholder of GTB should expect any dividend in the future for as long as twelve years! See the audacity!!!
BESIDES OBC SHAREHOLDERS MAY FALL IN SAME TRAP WHEN OBC BECOMES SICK AS ABSORBING GTB STAFF IS EQUIVALENT TO ONE ROTTEN EGG SPOILING ALL EGGS IN BASKET. ONE HAS TO WEED OUT FIELD COMPLETELY TO TAKE NEW CROP.

The preliminary report submitted by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) when matched with raw trading data during the initial minutes of May 17 raises many questions about the regulators’ ability. We now learn that in one investigation, SEBI’s lawyers have written to the regulator that it cannot be certain of a favourable order from an appellate body because of the (poor) quality of its investigation. This pertains to one of the biggest individual trader in the stock market. It brings us back to our original question. What can ordinary people do if the basic investigation and information gathering by regulatory agencies is deficient and faulty?

My reference letter dated 26-7-2004 in relation to GTB and my emails in relation to the scheme of amalgamation of GTB with Oriental Bank of Commerce.
Your reference:- Reply from DBS ahmedabad, vide letter dated 11-8-04 from Shri Sawant, Department of Banking Supervision, La Gajjar Chambers, Ahmedabad.
1. Kindly refer to the reply given by Shri Sawant , Department of Banking Supervision vide his letter DBS/170/04.03.09/2004-05 dated 11-08-2004. I am thankful to DBS –Ahmedabad for sending acknowledgment of my letters and e mails promptly.
2. I have received above referred reply from local branch of Reserve Bank of India pursuant to my letter addressed to them on Banking Fraud which involved local Branch in Ahmedabad of Global Trust Bank in collusion with Mr. Jatin Jalundhwala who created charge on immoveable property located in posh locality of Ahmedabad with help of GTB for a sum of Rs 12.5 crores on the companies called Rupmanglam Investment Private Limited as well as Flovin Plastics Private Limited .
3. As per the contents of the above letter, I have been told to communicate to the Hyderabad branch of Reserve Bank of India.
4. I strongly feel that there is error of judgment as well as gross administrative error from the point of view of efficiency as well as effectiveness for transferring the inquiry to Hyderabad branch of Reserve Bank of India which can unnecessarily create hurdles ,delay and prevent proper timely understanding of the case material and force person like me to run from pillar to post unnecessarily and waste time, energy and expense for approaching Hyderabad office who have not replied till date for over a month.
5. When a person approaches Reserve Bank of India’s branch , he should feel happy and go with complete satisfaction and feel that –one can fully trust RBI and the citizen is not fooled by making him run from pillar to post. All of us know , how has RBI handled Madhavpura Cooperative Bank and other cooperative banks in Gujarat and the country vis a vis GTB Bank.
6. By this letter , I most humbly request you to communicate all detailed finding in relation to my letter dated 26-7-2004 and by now all the particulars would have been collected from the GTB management through your Hyderabad office.
7. Secondly, I have already raised objections against amalgamation of GTB with OBC in my email on 7th August 2004 and I would appreciate very much if you would be kind enough to furnish a detailed reply in a logical fashion and the steps initiated by Reserve Bank of India against the staff and management of GTB including Mr. Ramesh Gelli on account of high non performing assets.
8. I most humbly appeal to you not to let them go scot free . You would be aware that in March/April 2002 there was article in newspapers where the top GTB management had initiated inquiry against Mr. S. R Krishnamurthy who was heading local branch of GTB and hence there should not be any reason for Reserve Bank of India to favour any officer of GTB and maintain soft stand .
9. It is needless to state that your stern actions against GTB officials has to be visible and it is your responsibility to demand a detailed explanation from Mr. Ramesh Gelli who was heading the GTB in 1999 in view of my letter to the vigilance department of Global Trust Bank on 24-7-1999 and failure on the part of GTB to file reply in affidavit both in CRA 25 and 26/2002 as well as Appeal from Order 176/2003 and Civil Application 3110/2003. It is expected of RBI that RBI does not help Ramesh Gelli and management of GTB to hide their head in sands like Ostritch but proactively force them and drag them out in an open arena before public before television and they are grilled by persons like me and others so that the trust ,faith , confidence in RBI returns. When they are not pulled up , you would be helping our Honorable Prime Minister Dr. Singh to go through agony and losing his cool , the way it happened recently. Such events are going to be on increase in coming future and therefore, instead of protecting GTB management , let them learn to defend themselves on their own before public so as to serve lessons to other bankers. .
10. I am really shocked and flabbergasted that you have taken swift measures to amalgamate GTB with OBC immediately as if the OBC is owned by the Directors of OBC and the directors of Reserve Bank of India.and not by the shareholders of Oriental Bank of Commerce and the shareholders of GTB does not have any say at all.
11. I expect a detailed reply from the Present Governor of Reserve Bank of India in this connection under his personal signature personally so that people of India can judge whether he is loyal to Ramesh Gelli or people of India. And whether the paper note showing signature of Governor of Reserve Bank of India has any value or not especially when the rupee has drastically devalued against dollar and the value of one hundred Rupee note hardly has any value in the present context.
12. As a regulatory authority , it was necessary for RBI to learn the lessons of being faitfhful, of being alert, agile, frugal, swift, vigilant , persistent, ever ready , tenacious, of having the ability to smell something wrong, etc from a DOG. The RBI has not done nothing to catch the GTB officials.
13. Sir, times have changed. A day is not too far when you have to go on printing notes to pay salary to the government officers and the salary would be inadequate to maintain the family.
14. I look forward to your detailed reply forthwith as a citizen of the country and as an affected party Reserve Bank of India is like father to the citizens of the country and as a father of the citizens of the country, we the citizens as children look forward to you that you play role of father effectively so that we in turn can play effective role to our children and our families. You shall also mark copy of your detailed reply on your website and mark a copy to the leaders of the nation to whom the copy of this letter is annexed.
15. A day is not too far when the people of India would lose trust in the capability , sincerity, competency, loyalty ,reliability and integrity of the regulatory body like Reserve Bank of India. Trust and faith in a system is not imparted by showing laws ,acts , enactments, by showing abuse of power, etc. Even Hitler’s Germany, Great Roman Empire, have been wiped off. All you have to do is start listening to the voices of common people and abandon rigidity of minds and start becoming super receptive and compassionate like Father of Nation –Gandhiji so that hard earned independence of the country does not fall in the hands of other East India Companies that are mushrooming.
16. You also have to tell the Government of India and the Finance Ministry that no benefits of Income tax rebates/concessions is made available to OBC through any schemes. This is as good as taxing people of India. There is no need to show generosity to OBC at all, when OBC has volunteered to amalgamate with GTB.
17. I am not your enemy , I am a friend to you as well as all people of India because I have stood in queue to exchange torn note of Rs 35 notes, the only liquid possession I had and out of that I had spent around Rs seven for sending a reply to the letter in one of the government department. I know what are the harsh the struggles of life can be for a whistleblower like me.

- This is in reference to the objections being invited from public as regards to amalgamation scheme being announced by RBI recently and invitation extended to public for filing objections if any.
- I have already drawn attention of vigilance department of Global Trust Bank by writing private and confidential letter on 24-7-1999 followed up by notice on 21-12-99 through advocate J J Patel ( which remained unreplied) , followed up by a civil suit 5627/2001 in city civil court in view of illegal charge created by Global Trust Bank in favour of Core Health Care for extending term loan of Rs 12.5 crores.
- I had already addressed letter to Director General Ofi Income tax Investigation on 18-6-99 and furnished additional particulars on 10-5-2000 when I was called for recording of my statement. The Director General Of Income tax –Investigation wrote a letter addressed to me on 19-9-2000 stating that there was truth in my statements and assured me that necessary steps would be taken by them for tax evasion etc. Inspite of repeated letters and telegrams , they did nothing.
- I would like to draw your attention that the contents of private and confidential letter were released to Core Health Care and to pressurize me to legalise illegal creation of charge done by bank officials with management of Core Health care as well as their employees , they subjected the undersigned to police remand for five days in Navrangpura Police station in December 1999.
- I have addressed letter to Global Trust Bank once again on 19-5-2004 annexed herewith which is self explanatory and the fact that they have not furnished detailed reply nor have they taken appropriate action against this group, their advisors as well as employees of the group , as well as their connected auditors and tax advocates speaks volume of their guilty conscience. The Reserve Bank of India as a regulator cannot be silent and mute spectator and allow such persons to go scot free.
- I would also like to draw your attention that Bar Council of Gujarat has not taken measures at the right time to inform the Chief Justice of Gujarat High Court as Mr. Saurabh Soparkar has been trying to veil the acts of fraud of GTB as he was personally involved by taking up the complaint 38/2002 filed with Bar Council of Gujarat against Mr. Saurabh Soparkar.Neither has the Bar council of Gujarat has furnished reply from Mr. Saurabh Soparkar pursuant to my reply in September 2003 nor have they taken up the issue with The Chief Justice of Gujarat High Court. In my interest as well as public interest as well as such blockades happening in future , it is necessary that action is taken against Bar Council of Gujarat who are traitors to the society.
- I had also brought to the attention to the Institute of Chartered accountants fo India in New Delhi as regards to conduct of Mr. Hemant Kashiparekh by writing a letter in Sepatember 1999 . They have remained silent to my letter.
- I had also informed SEBI to look into the matter by sending a copy of my above Letter dated 19-5-2004 to them by email . No findings have been reported to me .
- I had sent email to the Chief Minister of Gujarat marking a copy of the above Letter dated 19-5-04 with a request to look into banking fraud as well as furnishing protection to the undersigned. He was the only person who acknowledged as well as assigned his Principal Secretary to look into the matter. But the Principal Secretary working under him , it appears has done nothing to conduct inquiry on fraud. I am not supposed to run from pillar to post both for whistleblowing as well as for protecting of my rights as well as undue harassment still being caused to me by various authorities including income tax department.
- I had also informed Global Trust Bank vide my letter dated 14-6-2004 that a document of Lis Pendens has been filed with the appropriate authorities and in view of such filing of document and the fact of their knowledge much prior to the scheme pronounced by RBI on amalgamation, RBI cannot do anything which has an impact of depriving my rights in the immoveable property which has been illegally mortgaged. I cannot be prevented to file any suit of damage recovery , criminal action etc on GTB , OBC and the employees of OBC and GTB as well as management of RBI.
- Immediately on hearing the news on Sunday 25th July , I have addressed a letter to the Chief Justice of Gujarat High Court and copy marked to President of India and email was sent to them on July 25th itself. The Government of India was already in knowledge of the contents and seriousness of my e mail to them which was made prior to scheme of amalagmation announced on 26-7-2004. In view of such email prior to the Government of India , any clause inserted which takes away my rights cannot be acceptable to me including of filing of suit against RBI, OBC and GTB as well as connected persons. RBI management would automatically become partners to crime as the motive is to shield the officers and management of GTB and also the great bank robber Core Health Care where financial stake of Rs 750 crores has been involved. As RBI is a regulator , it owes total accountability to citizens of India when it does not punish ruthlessly without extending favour to any one.
- The act of Good faith is one that cannot be demanded as a way of right by inserting any clause in the scheme of amalgamation and thereby protect OBC , GTB, Central Government and the officers of RBI as appearing in clause 10 of Chapter 6 and also of detached and impartial observation by columnist in article by Sucheta Dalal on August 2nd 2004 in Indian Express too.
- I also reserve my right to file additional objections , once I receive a detailed reply from the letter addressed to Reserve Bank of India in Ahmedabad on 26-7-2004 itself , when the contents of the scheme of amalgamation was available to the undersigned.
- I would also like to raise same objections as raised by MR. Y.P Singh and as it appears in Asian Age edition along with my other objections to protect my interest as well as public at large.
- The particular paragraph 10 of Chapter VI has been cleverly and fraudulently prepared to delay,defeat and defraud the interest of depositors as well as the interest of creditors of GTB. Even for the sake of repetition , I reproduce the same as under:- LEGAL PROCEEDINGS AGAINST CENTRAL GOVERNMENT,RESERVE BANK OF INDIA, TRANSFEREE OR TRANSFEROR BANK:-“No suit or other legal proceedings shall lie against the central government, the Reserve Bank of India or the transferee bank or the transferor bank for any thing which is in good faith done or intended to be done in pursuance of the scheme.”
- Even a layman of ordinary sense and prudence will agree that this self serving paragraphs has been introduced in the scheme to keep justice seeker at bay. The RBI knows quite well that the step of amalgamation of GTB with OBC had to be taken with a pressure from North Block which cannot be blamed at any time in future and the RBI can easily take credit if the amalgamation stands the test of appeal before the Supreme Court and to pocket and swallow the discredit if any, without involving Ministry of Finance in the matter. Such and attitude on part of RBI is fatal to the ECONOMIC HEALTH of the country and the people of the country. It also violates, the principle of justice, equality and good conscience and the contents of Constitution of India. Nothing can LEGALISE AN ILLEGAL ACT and introduction of this paragraph by RBI reflects the partial attitude of the RBI. The consequential effect will be as under:-
v The rich will become richer.
v The poor will become poorer.
v The belief that the rich and clever defaulters can be easily BUY the politicians ,the bureaucrats and the North Block will become stronger.
v Consequent to above the combined effect of failure by a team of RBI,SEBI,POLITICIANS and North Block may result in loss of INDEPENDENCE by this country.
v This has potential of increase in terrorism and violence in the country and its impact can become unpredictable as to who would be victimised next .
- The whistle as well as SOS signal comes from various sources as it happened in Kargil and Cuban Missile Crisis where the people have blown whistle inspite of personal risks and therefore personal introspection has to be done by the Reserve Bank of India that it plays regulatory role by punishing so that such events do not happen again and even the bureaucrats, citizens behave in a responsible way to perform their duty to the nation the way it has been done by Mr. Y.P. - I would appreciate that over and above law points , I urge that the matter is examined from spirit of this letter and impact on the society. In case,this is not done, the Reserve Bank of India is triggering economical bomb just the way Hiroshama and Nagasaki were destroyed by a flight operator without realizing What he was doing.
20 I therefore urge you to use your powers with great responsibility as it isdouble edged sword which can engulf the country in economical fire and
which no one would be able to extinguish. Still everything is not lost. In
case the Reserve Bank of India directors still wants to go ahead with such
proposal, I as a citizen of the country want them to file affidavit that they
shall be fully accountable for illegal acts of fraud BY GTB AND SUPPORTED BY RBI TOO they are put to acid test by the citizens of the country in a voting specially done in the interest of publica at large too.In case they fail to do so then they are timid souls and they do not what they are doing to the people
of nation. In such situation they cannot take rash decision in a hot hurry.
21 I LOOK look forward to your detailed reply,findings ,action to my present letter as well as the letters sent earlier. On account of time constraints, I may have missed out on some annexures but this should not be a constraint and excuse on the part of RBI.
22. In view of the above stated facts and position, I , MR. Pankaj S Mody of Ahmedabad strongly object to this amalgamation and urge RBI to drop this idea of amalgamation.

- that Core health group has robbed banks to the extent of Rs 750 crores and has been referred as great bank robber by leading news paper.

- Brought to the notice that there was personal guarantee of Sushil Handa which was being retired on pretext of creation of charge on the property and thereby deliberately diluting necessary security.
- Had informed the bank that I know of their intention to dispose the property and has also warned that I would be compelled to initiate criminal action against the bank as well as the person who is charge of Global Trust bank –which naturally means and includes (all officeres of RBI, Central Government, OBC too) in case they fail to produce the witnesses in criminal defamation 3326/99 launched against me. (As a matter of fact the bank did not remain present in the metropolitan court number 15 on 22-7-2004 and produce all the necessary evidences collected at the time of sanction in the courts and nor did they write back to me that they will produce top officials of Core Health care in the metropolitan court).
- Brought to the notice of letter dated 3-8-99 by them to Core Health care that they were dissatisfied with the contents of letter dated 31-7-99 by their solicitor.
- Brought to the attention of the bank that their borrower is not remaining present in the metropolitan court in defamation case-and neither is bank pursuing that the officer remains present in the courts.
- Informed that S R Krishmanurthy has been sacked by bank itself.
- informed the bank that the party is deliberately avoiding to furnish necessary evidence which was called for in civil suit 5827/2001.
- lack of transparent approach as part of corporate responsibility to the society is forcing me to mark copy to SEBI and others.
- Had cautioned that in case they harass me , the contents would back fire on officials of bank. Had cautioned him that he had no alternative but to file criminal complaint against the group and their associates.
- the writer himself has deliberately tried to create and intensify to activate rage in the mind of the head of the bank and absence of such action confirms that THEY ARE HAND IN glove.

This is in reference to my above civil suit 5827/2001 pending in city civil court, Ahmedabad.
I would like to draw your attention that I have filed a notice of Lis Pendens before the SubRegistar vide registration number 2171 before the Sub-Registar, Ahmedabad-4 on April 15,2004 referring the above pending suit covering the immoveable property referred there in.
You are hereby informed that it would be illegal for you to transfer and dispose immoveable property 768/10 in Chadawad in any manner as the above suit is pending and all the cost and consequences would be to your account which please note.
Please note that you have not appeared before the Gujarat High Court in Appeal from order 176/2003 and nor have you filed any reply to my contentions raised in my appeal from order which confirms that you have tacitly accepted that the charge created by you is illegal.
Further your silence to my letter dated 19-5-2004 already establishes the bank’s guilty conscience that the bank officials are hand in glove with Core Health care, Mr. Jatin Jalundhwala and Dhanyushya Financial and have no defense.

It is hard for ordinary public to understand the implications unless we see a copy of the same and glimpse of its impact became known only when columnist Sucheta Dalal published the article in Indian Express on 2nd August 2004.

RBI’s shoddy role in the GTB saga

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) wants to ensure that its regulatory lapses never come in for scrutiny; and what better way to ensure this than an immunity clause in the amalgamation scheme of Global Trust Bank (GTB) with Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC)? It says that no suit or legal proceedings can lie against the centre, RBI, OBC and GTB for anything done in good faith or in pursuance of the Scheme.
There is hardly any time for any one to make effective representation and hence in the interest of citizens of India , the date needs to be extended by atleast one month so that people, media can debate on such draconian facet of the act which is as good as land ceiling laws passed during Indira regime.
You would immediately announce extension of this date so that people has sufficient time to file objections effectively because it requires understanding of economics , law, constitution, etc which even a lawyer would not understand on account of only legal background he has .
Kindly extend the date forthwith in interest of public as taking such measure would not cause any adverse impact on RBI and /or OBC.
Your detailed reply is expected forthwith as time is short and the public is lost as to whom to represent to get additional time.
Besides, a person like me is facing grave difficulty in ahmedabad in view of heavy rains in ahmedabad since last two days and it was difficult to download the entire text from RBI site –the scheme of amalgamation as put on website. I am sure there that there are many who get affected by such situation .
I am also annexing letter addressed to Chief General Manager , Reserve Bank of India on 26-7-2004 connected with the matter by the undersigned and it is necessary that I have detailed response so that I can furnish a detailed reply.

Mr. Sushil Handa of Core HealthCare who has been called great bank robber defrauding banks etc to the extent of Rs 750 crores is also involved in banking fraud involving Global Trust Bank from where Core Health Care has taken Rs 12..5 crores. Kindly issue lighting message so that he is kept under house watch as well as instructions to all the international airports that he does not escape from the country.. This is precautionary measure so that the horse does not run away from the stable.
2. Necessary instruction needed need to be issued to the Chief Justice of Gujarat High Court by sending email to examine the matter in depth in view of my letter addressed to him and annexed herewith and my earlier correspondence addressed to the Chief Justice .
3. Kindly advise the Chief Minister of Gujarat by your special instruction to him forthwith to look into the matter and place Sushil Handa on house arrest.
You only have at the most to hold Mr Sushil Handa under special house watch as this personal message would reach to thousand Indians because of inefficiency , ineffectiveness and negliegence existing in the country bureaucrats who protect the great bank robbers with help of advocates like Saurabh Soparkar and the honorable lordships of Gujarat High Court and even the letter addressed in the past to Chief Justice of Supreme Court of India - Mr. V. N.Khare has not made any difference.
This would ultimately tarnish your image beyond repair.
As the time has been insufficient to apprise the situation , I shall send further EMAIL LATER.

Subject: My earlier petition letter addressed to you dated 24-11-2003 and telegram on 1-12-2003 and subsequent letter in first week of January 2004 in connection with the Appeal from Order 176/2003 where I had appeared as party in person ….. IN RELATION WITH GLOBAL TRUST BANK

I would like to bring it to your knowledge the news about Global Trust Bank which appeared in today’s news paper.
I have sent a letter specifically addressed to you on 24-11-2003 followed up by a telegram on 1-12-2003 as referred above. Some of the details of correspondence can be visited by visiting the link and can be accessed by cutting and pasting : http://www.cjguj.blogspot.com/
Perhaps due to oversight or on account of your extremely busy schedule you may have overlooked the matter or have ignored the matter and have not grasped the seriousness. What is not nipped in bud grows to large dimensions. A small hole in the dam can be sealed but it would be impossible to seal the dam once the walls have ruptured.
I had visualized this and therefore I had drawn your attention. In case you just let the situation remain uncontrolled , a day is not too far when all the banks in the country would go bust and even you would not be able to draw funds from any bank any more and the Government of India may not be able to pay any salaries. That day is not too far if one sits quietly and has a look at the incidents in the country. A situation is developing where by even the people in power including the judges and the politicians would not be able to stop mobs in form of depositors disturbing the sleep of leaders and the judiciary. The time is to wake up now. Only few have natural foresight to see what can happen in future. The situation in the country is leading to chaos and anarchy and even the parliament proceedings is also pointer in this direction.
It is harsh reality that human beings are blind like Dhitrashtra and play blind like Gandhari out of attachment of Duryodhanas and play as indifferent spectator like Bhisma when Draupadi gets victimized by being disrobed by Dushashana on account of Shakuni playing dirty tricks which veils the vision of all the people. The shakunis are the advocates themselves who cloud the vision of the honorable lordships. Here the Shakunis are in the form of advocates appearing before the courts day in and day out and the honorable judges get identified by them and believe what they say and do not have awareness of detaching the minds.
I would not like your name as well as name of Gujarat High Court gets tarnished in case you do not act proactively. Best bakery case is live experience. You cannot be silent when once again Rome gets engulfed in fire.
In view of my earlier petiton letter and in order to find truth and control the damage and the horses do not run away , I most earnestly request you to :-
a) Mr. Sushil Handa has robbed banks to the tune of Rs 750 crores and has fraudulently obtained Rs 12.5 crores as referred in my letter dated 24-11-03 from Global Trust Bank and lighting steps are necessary to put him under house arrest so that he does not disappear as it happened with the tainted minister recently. This is because none on behalf of Core Health care attend the Metropolitan Court under Magistrate 15 in the defamation case 3326/99 is filed against the undersigned even when the matter appeared on the Board of Magistrate 15 of Metropolitan Court in Meghaninagar on 22-7-2004. It is necessary to hold Mr. Sushil Handa under house watch or judicial custody in the interest of depositors too. In case you do not take such steps immediately he may escape once the message of this letter spreads to the outside world creating embarrassment for the judiciary in Gujarat once more.
b) Mr. Saurabh Soparkar , the advocate of Gujarat High Court is put under house arrest in view of my complaint 38 of 2002 and his inability to furnish reply to my reply in September 2003 to Bar Council of Gujarat. Bar Council of Gujarat is shielding Core Health Care too. Mr. Soparkar has deceived the Gujarat High Court right from the beginning and his actions/inactions need to be questioned.
c) Mr. Jatin Jalundhwala and the auditor Mr. Hemant Kashiparekh and the concerned officers of the Global Trust Bank are held in custody.
I could feel the house on fire (the country) earlier in GLOBAL TRUST BANK and I hope you can see it too and once it becomes an towering inferno , you would not be able to control it because just like fire it would spread to other banks and Reserve Bank of India cannot protect all the banks.
The steps would enable you to pin this industrialist and the bankers as well as Mr. Saurabh Soparkar and also lost sum of Rs 12.5 crores plus interest in the interest of the depositors of Global Trust Bank.
In case the court listens to the undersigned with full receptively, patiently and questions Mr. Saurabh Soparkar the Gujarat High Court advocate , Mr. Jatin Jalundhwala and the concerned officers of Global Trust bank , the Honorable court would be able to protect the interest of the depositors to some extent by being able to retrieve the funds from Handas and also find truth in the matter. All I want is compassionate,patient and unbiased Lordships bench so that I can convince them as a party in person. I do not have power of communication like High Court advocate but I have full conviction what is truth in the matter. I earnestly request you that the matter is heard outside court chambers so that I do not get suffocated by other advocates protecting their fellow brother Mr. Saurabh Soparkar when one is in the court consisting of lawyers only where it becomes impossible for a person open up.
In view of the seriousness of the problem and as well as protection not made available to me inspite of my reference in my letter dated 24-11-03 , the contents of the letter comes under public domain and you may find it very embarrassing to deal with the situation once more the way it happened with Best Bakery case .
The time has to come to throw away all law books when a boat is sinking or house is on fire the way Adi Shankracharya refers it in one of his classic poems of realities of life that one does not talk language of grammar but survives only whether one knows how to swim. The entire country is facing this situation. Our country is facing turbulent times and no citizen is being spared by nature whether one is in power or not in power.
It is not possible to convey all the aspects in such a short time. I earnestly request to look into the matter referred in my letter dated 24-11-2003.
The time is for right action first to save the depositors from wrath of Sushil Handa, Mr. Soparkar in collusion with the top officials of the Global Trust Bank by making him pay all the bank dues immediately which the bank officers do not do as they are hand in glove with Core Health Care people in committing banking fraud.
I hope I would not be misunderstood. I am writing to you so as to protect the interest of depositors as well as to protect the DIGNITY and HONOUR of the court and the depositors creating more embarrassment to the leaders. What one sees is the tip of the iceberg and the Reserve Bank of India may give impression that it has put out a fire but all of us are sitting on live and unpredictable volcano. I can see it coming.
As I am a witness and a whistleblower to banking fraud. I would be given full PROTECTION SO THAT I CAN APPEAR TO THE COURTS SAFELY . I am enclosing a recent letter to the Global Trust Bank.
I sincerely hope that I as party in person is treated with receptivity,patience respect and dignity by the Honrable judges of Gujarat High Court which was missing in Honorable Lordship Miss R M Doshit by passing arbitary non speaking order without even waiting for Global Trust Bank, Jatin Jalundhwala , Dhanyuhya Financial and Core Health Care file written affidavits to my appeal from order and civil application.

- I am grateful to you for acknowledging copy endorsed to you on 21-09-2004 as regards to my email to sansad members titled Urgent Need to raise strong protest against cabinet decision on allowing GTB_OBC amalgamation in undemocratic manner and taking citizens of the country for a ride and throwing mud in their eyes. However, your reply as well actions taken in light of email addressed specifically addressed to you on 22-9-2004 is still pending with you.
- Sir, while I appreciate your action in the matter , I would like to put it on record that as banking fraud is being reported by a whistleblower like me , there is a possibility that my life could be in danger and with a view that a repeat of S K Dubey does not happen again tarnishing your name , it would be ideal that you communicate to the Chief Minister of Gujarat to protect me as well as advise prompt action to the particulars provided to Navrangpura Police station through their Law Garden Police chawky on 12-9-2004 by me. In case, such precautions are not taken by you ,then , any thing happening to me would be your responsibility.
- Sir , arent’t you disgusted to come to ahmedabad when so many Dushashanas have been openly stripping Draupadis in form of Citizens of Gujarat and also in view of personal experience of whistleblower communicated to you by email and referred as under too ?
- Should you feel comfortable to come to Gujarat for Navratri Celebrations when great injustice and impartiality has been done by RBI on depositors of Gujarat on one hand while on another hand RBI, North Block and the cabinet announcing immediate merger of GTB with OBC and thereby openly insulting pride and garima of people of Gujarat ?
- Should you feel comfortable to come to Gujarat when the Chief Justice of Gujarat inspite of letter addressed to him on 24-11-2003 by the undersigned him with subsequent reminders as well as e mail addressed to him on 25-07-2004 has failed to take suomoto inquiry against GTB , Gujarat High Court advocate Mr. Saurabh Soparkar , and Mr. Sushil Handa - a great bank robber who has robbed financial institutions to the tune of Rs 750 crores ?.
- Should you feel proud to come to Gujarat when the local branch of Department of Banking supervision does not want to conduct inquiry on GTB inspite of my email to Reserve Bank of India immediately?
- Should you feel proud to come to Gujarat when the Supreme Court of India has not done their homework by sacking Lordship Miss R M Doshit as she had dismissed the appeal from order 176/2003 even when no one had appeared on behalf of GTB as well as Core Health care and Jatin Jalundhwala in view of my letter addressed to CJI V N Khare in March 2004?
- Should you feel proud to come to Gujarat when Bar Council of Gujarat is protecting advocate like Mr. Saurabh Soparkar inspite of he openly deceiving the Honorable Lordships of Gujarat High Court. While some of their lawyers manage cash for warrant against you in the metropolitan court of Gujarat?
- Should you feel proud as President of India when none of the Sansad Members of Members of Parliament do not bother to send any reply to me in response to my email to them and some of the copies marked to you when none of them have openly revolted against the cabinet decision of approving merger of GTB with OBC ?
- Should you feel proud when the income tax department working under the Finance department is extorting taxes from family members of mine and there is no one to give a reply ?
- Should you feel proud to attend Navratri when CVC has not furnished a detailed reply in view of my serious complaints against the senior persons like Director General of Investgation and doing justice to me ?
- Is it that on account of various tacit constraints imposed on the Chief Minister of Gujarat by tacit threats of RBI not funding them that the Government of Gujarat is reluctant to take action on the culprits inspite of my furnishing details to the Police on September 12 ,2004 against GTB and others.?
- Or is it that the President of India has a soft corner for Ramesh Gelli who has been awarded wih Padmshri award and GTB started by Ramesh Gelli had been inaugurated by the current Prime Minister several years back. Or is it that Sushi Handa , eventhough a great bank robber needs to be protected by you because he happens to be the brother of son-in-law of ex- Vice President of India – Late Shri Krishnakant?
- Sir if this is the attitude of President of India towards a whistleblower of banking fraud, negligence, advocates, judiciary , RBI, FM,PM , SansadMembers Bar Council of Gujarat , Income tax department ,Institute of Chartered Accoutants of India openly deceiving to shield Sushil Handa in their acts of banking fraud and shield GTB management as well as Ramesh Gelli , do you deserve to be respected by the citizens of India and feel happy enjoying celebrations of Navratri function in Ahmedabad on eve of your birthday ??? In order that the people of India sing a song of India , this has to start with you as a leader and father of nation taking proactive steps so that Prime Minister stops pumping air in a flat tyre but replaces flat tyre and tube in the tyre before fight India is made to take off the grounds.

LEADERSHIP IN PALMS
LEADERSHIP IN YOUR PALM
Most effective and exemplary leadership is in your palm. For learning leadership lessons one need not go to any business school or read many books on modern approaches to leadership.
Leadership is literally in your hand. It is in your palm. Look at your palm. What do you see? How many fingers? Five ? NO! There are only four fingers. The other one is Thumb! In every language this one is not called a finger but by a different name
But is it not a finger? It is not entirely correct to say that it is not a finger> It is not entirely correct to say that it is just a finger.
Thumb is a finger and also MORE THAN a finger. Like Thumb is the finger plus, leader is member plus.Now we have a team of leader and four fingers.
What leadership lessons can we learn from this team? Look at the palm and fingers.
1. The team fingers have difficulty in contacting each other. THey have a problem to be in touch with each other. But, thumb easily touches each of the fingers. Actually, when you join thumb and four fingers they come together easily. ==>An effective leader is in touch with each of the members and brings them together.
2. Though thumb is smaller in size than three of the fingers, it is solid and strong. ==>An effective leader is strong and solid (in will) though he may be in smaller in size. Size is not a determining factor for leadership but being solid and strong matters.
3. All the four fingers have three joints each though Thumbs has got only two joints. But thumb is more flexible than each of them.==>An effective leader may have less skills than the members but is flexible to utilize the skills of members.
4. The four fingers are facing the world and are externally directed. Thumb looks both the world and also towards the four members.==>Effective leader minds both members and work. He actually cares for members so that they can care for work.
5. Fingers cannot work without Thumb. Thumb cannot work without fingers. Fingers need Thumb and Thumb needs fingers.==>Members cannot work without leader. Leader cannot work without members. Member needs leader and leader needs members.
6.Thumb helps fingers to different jobs in different forms like holding, pulling, lifting, writing, etc and adds value in many ways. ==> Leader helps members to perform many tasks and adds value in many ways.
7.There is trouble maker in the fingers. That is index finger. It points out again and again. "This is wrong." "This is wrong." It threatens. It questions. It disagrees. But when this aggressive finger joins thumb , it makes a perfect sign.==>.Amongst members there may be members who question, agree, disagree and accuse. But effective leader joins that very member to create excellence and perfectness.
8.Very important thing. Both thumb and fingers cannot do without bending. While standing rigid no work can be done. When they bend they can do many things.==> Both leader and member have to be humble to do effective work. Being rigid with own egos will not contribute. Bending together and mending together is ending of all problems and the master key to success. To bend , to be humble is to understand each other. TO understand one has to stand under.
9.When thumb and all the fingers close together in unity, they become a strong iron fist which can hammer and crash any thing.==>When leader and the members close together in unity they become a strong force and can hammer and crash any problem.
10. When member close together and leader is shining with smile and standing for the team. it is "spirits up." A victory for team.==>When all fingers including the thumb join with each other and palm is held up , it is "ABHAYAM", fearlessness.
11. When all fingers including the thumb join with each other and palm is held up, it is " Abhayam" fearlessness.==> When all members including the team stands up, it is "Abhayam" fearlessness.

I have addressed a letter to Commissioner of Income Tax -Appeals (XVII) in Ahmedabad and the same is enclosed herewith .
I am sending a copy of my present email to Commissioner of Income Tax –Appeals (XVII) and the media . I would like to draw your attention that the Income tax department has used means of coercion , intimidation to extort substantial taxes from my family members and my children causing further disruption in family life. Kindly extend all your necessary support to the Commissioner of Income Tax- (XVII) who may be reluctant to expose the concerned officers of the income tax department as well as the connected tax advocate and chartered accountants as well as the great bank robber -Mr. Sushil Handa in the interest of revenue, as the department wants to protect the great bank robber company and their associates while harassing informant-cum -whistleblower that is the undersigned.

THERE IS A SAYING THAT – A STITCH IN TIME SAVES NINE. I hope that you are able to really understand what I mean.
IT IS NECESSARY THAT YOU NEED TO PERSONALLY CONDUCT INVESTIGATION AS REGARDS TO STATE OF AFFAIRS IN THE INCOME TAX DEPARTMNET SO THAT THE FAMILIES ARE NOT HARASSED UNNECESSARILY. Respected Sir,
Sub: the appeals pending before you as regards to personal as well as HUF for the assessment year 96-97 and 97-98 fixed for hearing on 26-10-2 004
Reference :- my earlier correspondence letters dated 18-08-2004 and 24-02-2004 .
1. This is in reference to above the hearing fixed on 26-10-2004.
2. I am unable to take out some of the relevant files as the residence of my my parents is closed as my mother is being operated . Hence, kindly grant a fresh date after two weeks as till then I would not be able to appear before you.
3. In light of my above letter dated 18-08-2004 , I once again humbly request you to arrange for appellate orders passed in case of my wife Mrs S. P. Mody and my children as the facts and circumstances of the case are identical and my family members are not extending cooperation as informed to the department as well as to you during the discussions.
4. I fail to understand as to how the appellate orders have been passed without collecting necessary facts by collecting necessary documentary evidence and recording statement of Dhanyushya Financial , Jatin Jalundhwala, Mr. Saurabh Soparkar, Mr. Hemant Kashiparekh and M/s Shah and Shah Associates especially when my family members had specifically requested the –then assessing officer. It is absolutely clear that some one from the department is protecting these persons even if it results in loss of revenue from these persons/companies/tax advocates/chartered accountants.
5. You would appreciate that , the department needs to extend full cooperation as I am the one who is the informant-cum- whistleblower of tax evasion and it is necessary that all the facts and documentary evidence are furnished to me in view of natural justice, equity and good conscience.
6. Human consideration and approach need to be followed by the income tax department as under no circumstances the right to information can be denied to me in a democratic country as it unnecessarily involves cost of litigation, hardship to the assessee and this is nothing but barbaric methods being employed in a civilized society to use methods of coercion to extract taxes by hook and crook from the citizens of the country.
7. In case you are facing some hurdles , it would be better that you write top Prime Minister of India and make representation to him that the circumstances require to have transparent approach even if it may involve exposing the misconduct of the officials involved in the assessment as well that of Investigation department. It is natural to expect such respect and conduct from the top officials of the Income tax department.
8. As the assessing officer and his peers as well as his superiors has used means of coercion to extort taxes from my family members on my complaint against some of the senior officers of the department to the Central Vigilance Commission , I do not have any option but to mark a copy of my present letter to the President of India presiden...@rb.nic.in as well as to the well known columnist of Indian Express Tavleen Singh at tavlee...@expressindia.com
9. In the wider and broader interest of revenue , it is necessary that you call for complete documentary evidence from Mr. Jatin Jalundhwala , Mr. Hemant kahiparekh , Mr. Saurabh Soparkar and M/s Shah and Shah Associates without any further delay.

Two weeks ago in this column I wrote about corruption in agencies that are supposed to be the Government’s economic policemen. The article was inspired by the arrest of Mumbai’s corrupt Central Excise Commissioner, Shri P K Ajwani. He who was found with a couple of crores lying around in cash in his apartment.

the main fear C.B.I has that the such vigilance audits as suggested by Tavleen singh may even expose that many of the 32000 crores may have actually been siphoned by the past and present members of this so called honest, hardworking and dedicated agency. But for people like Tavleen we would continue living in a world where no body wishes to point that the emperor wears no clothes.

This government has to act
I admire her courage and what CBI has printed is a typical eyewash; why they have not laid there hands on persons who created thousands of crores of scams in previous regime like UTI scam, NHAI scam, Balco scam, etc., the CBI as well as every aware citizen of this country was watching the ruckus in parliament in 2001; then PM's troika was not only accused by congress, left but even by their own allies in power. Is it not amazing even after change of government the same parties like congress and left are under selective amnesia and take futile steps like sacking anupam kher and removing consultants from planning commission. If this country with the present quality of highest integrity of the president and prime minister cannot show a determination to change/ stop all this loot then probably there is no hope for this country. The government should crackdown on all such scamsters and looters and attach/ auction their properties, believe me the there would be quantum jump in GDP of this country. But the big question remains whether this government has the guts to take some drastic steps or else the nagpur model of self justice against all goons would be adopted everywhere.

Bravo Tavleen! Carry on with YOUR crusade against the corrupt sharks! Real job of a journ is to inform the masses with all fire and indefatigble-courage. Corruption-hoarded money is so big that if un-earthed,nation might execute biggest projects,for greater benefits of our poverty stricken people.Who would handle such a colossal-excercise as it involves a bigger amount of courage,honesty,dedication,commitment and patriotic zeal for the nation.Let there be ONE such person,to show the light in this gloomy situation.CBI-itself is"corruption-centralized bureau"and it conducts"sharade of investigations"to catch-victims,who would dole out part of un-accounted wealth,to their officers.CBI was in full news about Bofors-fresh material evidence against Sonia.What happened to that"Fresh evidence"after Sonia became UPA,chairperson?Who is going to hunt for/deliver the crores that Veerappa had amassed?UPA-ministers,like Laloo/others have mountain loads of wealth-who is going to hunt for that?Jab barr-khet ko khanne lage,toe khet ko koun bechaey"! MM is too soft to handle all such problems.He holds no portfolio,as the UPA bickering/CPM's intimidatory tactics, keep him on his toes all the time!

Admiration with a bit of critics.
I do admire the courage of Ms.Tavleen Singh when she writes about the corruption which takes place at many levels in India.I also agree that it is a good thing to pin point the appropriate authorities to take firm action against the culprits.But as a respectfull journalist,Ms.Tavleen Singh should also take to note the kind of stress a normal Indian Government employee goes trough,because when they do their job accurately (like Kiran Bedi did in the seventies) then also it becomes a problem,because the people from high levels start complaining against them as their Chache,Taya,Mamaji's son or uncle-in-law used to get arrested for committing crimes.Therefore,I request Ms.Singh to think about the honest officers who even risk their lives in order to safeguard ours,and remember that not everyone is corrupted.
The best way is to highlight the good achievements and point a finger trough objective journalism instead of becoming personal.
Though from the bottom of my heart,
I admire Ms.Tavleen Singhs courage,but I may also add that personal attacks could have been avoided in this article.Thank you and please do keep up the good work.
