Hey Everyone,

It seems as though the Guilford College community, and our WGHS family has taken a few hits in the last couple of weeks. Ralph Amoroso has let me know that Marty Thomas lost his dad yesterday. I am not sure of the details at this point, but when Ralph gets them, he said he would pass them along to me to pass along to the class. The Thomas family was well loved in the community, and it is so sad to know that they have suffered the loss of such a wonderful man.

Our community also took a hit this past week with the death of Trip Ellington, class '76. Trip has had several health issues in the last few years, and unfortunately passed of cancer. He was married to Mary Best, sister of our own Joe Best. 

Please keep both the Thomas, Best-Ellington families in your prayers as they go thru this really difficult times in their lives.
