Hello Everyone,

I received word this weekend that the family of one of our alumni had passed on March 10th.

Martha Bell, the mother of Molly Bell, her siblings Steve, Fred and Amy. I have enclosed the obituary that I was given the link to.

Many in the class of '77 will remember that fun loving run headed Molly Bell....always with a sense of humor, and the girl loved to laugh. I am "thinking" that her family moved to VA after our freshman year, but it might have been our 10th grade year.

Please join me in offering up prayer for the entire Bell family as they deal with the loss of their mom. I am sorry that I do not have an email to share, but you can always go to the obituary link, and leave a message for the Bell family there.

BELL, Martha; 87, of Mechanicsville, VA passed away peacefully at her home, Sunday, March 10, 2019. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Bell; and her parents, Victor and Alma Greene. Martha is survived by her children; Stephen (Liz), Fred,(Chris), Molly (Angelina), and Amy (Jeff); grandchildren, Laura, Matthew, Amy, Samuel, Thy, Peter, and Alexander; and a sister, Mary Jo Moody. She was a long-time member of Bethlehem Presbyterian Church; and an avid pet lover with a soft spot for senior pets. A memorial service will be held, 3 pm, March 30, 2019 at Bethlehem Presbyterian Church, 2446 Old Church Rd., Mechanicsville, VA 23111. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the church.
