We have nettles around a meadow near Big Bear.  I would put them in the highly invasive category if there is water around.  Hard to deal with once established.  I also understand, very tasty.

I have a stinging nettle plant that I got from Robin at the library. It's a native super-food. I wonder if there is any interest in growing this at the garden.

Also, I have the frame for a trampoline. Would there be any use for this as a trellis for growing things at the garden?

    Just thinkin'.

So do you think we could put in in a flower pot in the garden?  I Think we should avoid invasive plants though I would love to try it...LauriePiccolotti

The nettle is safely planted at my house.
Maybe a flower bed for cut flowers? Hmmmm. The sky is the limit. Smile
I have a volunteer cherry tree from the seed of my cherry tree. It's about 4 feet tall. Do we want it at the garden? I also have volunteer pear trees.
