Hi all!

I am planning to catalog the books starting this week, are there any in the shed that are not staying and/or that owners do not want labeled?

I plan to put on labels and such for check out purposes and to create a catalog of books in the shed for members. If I start now it will be easier to maintain before I get more books in there :)

Also, I found a small herb booklet of mine that I will put in there this week. I believe Lori was looking for something about herbs...

Hi all!

I am starting work on a book drive to create a small reference library
in the shed. Below is a copy of the press release I put together for
this. I will try to get it on the FB page also. If any has any ideas
or whatever please let me know.

Wrightwood Community Garden Book Drive

The Wrightwood Community Garden is coming up on its first full year of
gardening activities and as the garden grows members are looking for
ways to expand and enhance the public garden. One effort includes
building a small reference library in the garden shed for all to use
in their quest for knowledge of the green thumb sort, as well as
bountiful crops.
We are looking for gardening and organic reference books of all sorts.
The garden does focus on organic practices, so books that reflect this
system are highly desired. This season also includes two new
children’s plots, so books for young gardeners are also welcome.
If you have gardening books that you would like to donate, if you
would like to purchase a book or make a donation to the book fund
please call Anjela @760.662.3636 or email mail...@hotmail.com.
