MANAGER’S NOTE
Greetings Everyone!
It feels good to be back at the WCAC. Sorry if I have been busy the last week - I feel like myself, the studio assistant (Emily Bishop) and Resident (Andy Cain) have been busy getting the house back in order. Please stop me and say hello if you see me around the studio. I’m happy to sit and chat for a bit as I make sure the studio is operating smoothly.
Here are my priorities as we move forward:
Health, Safety, Cleanliness and Organization of the studio
Happiness of the students and teachers of the shared clay space
Open communication between myself, students, teachers and residents
If you have a concern or need that needs to be addressed please let myself, Emily or Andy know. In case of emergencies my cell is (814) 203-2571. Please be on the lookout for future bi-weekly emails from me using the studio email - wcac.stud...@gmail.com - which is another way to keep in touch. Communication is so important to keep such a large group of people on the same page so email/notes will be my main form of updates.
Here are my goals as we move forward:
Guest Artists / Workshops / Demos quarterly
Expanding our reach to the younger members of the community
Reforming the WCAC Studio Leadership Group
I am happy to be back on board and look forward to working alongside you all!
