Hi Bill,

I wanted to share information with you & the studio about an awesome event happening at AU on October 26th.

Alfred's Ring of Fire is an interactive showcase of Alfred University's combustive arts, including demos in glass and blacksmithing and interactive opportunities in Raku ceramics and metal casting. 

The event will take place on October 26th from 4-7 p.m. on Cushing Alley (Behind Binns Merrill Hall, Outdoor Kiln Pavillion, Hot Shop).

Community members will have the opportunity to create art at this event by purchasing scratch block molds for iron casting and glaze-it-yourself ceramic objects for raku. 

While taking in the festivities, community members will enjoy free s'mores alongside warm seasonal beverages. Attendance at the event is completely free and open to the public.

I have cc'd the student who is the event's lead organizer if you have any questions.
