Manager's Note - Group Clean

Hello everyone!

     It's been a productive day in the studio this week! We got the vent fan fixed in the studio and also continued to tidy up and clean the studio space. Installed Sandy Cameron's sculpture in the Gem window. Also ran multiple successful kiln firings and just had a very good week!

      A couple quick notes for the upcoming week (8/26-9/1):

1. The resident (Andy Cain), studio assistant (Emily Bishop) and myself will be doing a group clean on Saturday 8/31. This is a great time to say hello to Andy and Emily if you haven't met them yet. 
1. We are going  to clean up the spaces underneath all the tables in both the wheel and handbuilding room.  Clean up the nooks and crannies in both rooms as well.
2. We will be redoing the canvas in the handbuilding room to straighten out the lumps under the canvas.
3. Start wheel maintenance by numbering and testing the wheels.
4. Consolidating shelving for incoming new students starting on 9/2 for the Fall Session.
2. Please if you could tidy up and consolidate your shelving that would give us a better picture of what shelving is available for incoming students.
3. I would also encourage you all to sign up for the Fall Session if you are planning to do so.  This really helps me to get rosters of students to teachers prior to classes starting on 9/2.
