Hello all,
It has been a pleasure to serve as Studio Manager at the WCAC this year. I have cherished my time with studio members, and am deeply grateful for the opportunity to connect with this community.
Unfortunately, due to mounting opportunities and obligations, I don’t feel I am able to continue to meet the needs of the studio or the Studio Manager position. Balancing all of my obligations over this past year was difficult, and for this upcoming year, it will be impossible.
I am also deeply grateful to Andy and Tina Glanzman for the dedication they have to the art center and the community, and for giving me the opportunity to contribute to both. I have been in conversation about this with Andy for a short time, and he has been both flexible and supportive as I make my exit.
I’d like to take this opportunity to introduce (or re-introduce) Bill Moon. He was the manager a few years ago, and has agreed to assume the position once again. Bill is an accomplished local potter with a wood kiln and studio on his own property, and shows and sells regionally. He has been teaching here at the art center this year, and brings dedication and enthusiasm to the craft. I’m excited that he will be bringing that energy with him.
Many thanks to all of you!! I hope to see you at future WCAC events and activities, and of course, around town.
Best Wishes,
Heather
