Hello Friends of the WCAC!
I'm so excited to announce our Fall line up of classes at the Wellsville Creative Arts Center! The Fall session at the Center starts soon running from September 2 - November 10.
First we have Ceramic Sculpture with Mark Corwine. Mark has brought his years of knowledge teaching ceramics to the Center and we are excited to have him. Mark's class is open to beginner and advanced students. Mark is quickly becoming a core teacher here at the WCAC! You can find more info on Mark's class and sign up here:
Ceramic Sculpture with Mark C. - This class runs Wednesdays from 6-8 p.m. so it's a great fit after dinner and aligns with Open Mic night.
Our second instructor is probably familiar to many of you and has been with the WCAC since the beginning. Marsha VanVlack will offer three courses for the upcoming Fall session. Ceramic Handbuilding on Wednesdays 2-4 or Thursdays 1-3. Open to students of all levels Marsha introduces students to a variety of techniques to create amazing pieces. The second class Marsha will be teaching is Ceramic Technique also offered on Wednesday evenings from 6-8 (Open Mic Time!), Marsha shows all levels of students ways to incorporate both wheel throwing and handbuilding. Hop on board this class to expand your skills:

Our last but not least offering for the Fall session is a new class created by Kimberly Grossman called Cooking with Clay! Kimberly will be teaching on Wednesday afternoons from 2-4 and her classes tend to fill up quickly. This class will be limited to 12 students - beginner and advanced students will be shown how to make a variety of kitchen useful pieces from clay. So whether you are a returning student, a clay enthusiast who has taken a break or a complete beginner we welcome you to our clay community here at the Wellsville Creative Arts Center.
Classes start in two weeks so if you have any questions feel free to drop us a line or better yet stop by! 8 weeks of instruction over 10 weeks with full studio access, friendly studio members and engaging teachers!
