WARD congratulates the election winners for City Council! We look forward to working with them to ensure that future decisions on the former UMCH property (1033 High Street) truly represent the wishes of the majority of our community. 

While we acknowledge the results of the election, we encourage the winners to not misinterpret them. The WARD candidates, explicit about our UMCH position, garnered 8 percent MORE votes than the pro-density candidates (11,519, 54%; vs 9801, 46%).

 

We firmly believe the broad public is behind the WARD vision. Let’s move forward!
