Job Title: WEBLOGIC / MIDDLEWARE ADMIN

Location: West Chester or Denver PA Locations

Duration:18+ months




 

 

There will be a PHONE SCREEN AND FACE TO FACE

 

 

Project

The individual will collaborate with product teams, operations personnel, project managers, engineering groups and strategic partners to design, implement and support infrastructure primarily based on the Oracle Weblogic or Aqualogic BPM platform.  This individual will provide technical leadership and mentoring to a team of application engineers serving as a technical authority.

 

Tasks

-Analysis of problems in design, configuration, data flow, data state within a highly complex multi product provisioning system based on a Oracle Weblogic or Aqualogic BPM platform
-Assist with or lead efforts to build new application infrastructure coordinating efforts across teams as needed while tracking and reporting progress.
-Provide after hours support for code deployments, changes and general support
-Contribute design considerations for new products or architectural changes to existing products
-Mentor Jr. staff providing guidance based on observations and requests as necessary in conjunction with formal group training sessions
-Evaluate and recommend changes to enhance platform reliability such as monitoring, tools, process and code changes
-Work closely with Vendors to evaluate & track bug fixes and service packs evaluating both benefit and risk
-Participate in a variety of meetings and status calls including projects, troubleshooting & testing
-Serve as a highly available point of escalation on a 7x24 basis

 

Requirements

B.S. in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, MS preferred or equivalent work experience

Minimum Experience:
-5 years of direct support experience with accountability for availability
-5 years combined design and support/administration experience in Oracle Weblogic Server
-1 year of dedicated focus on design and support/administration Oracle AquaLogic BPM (ALBPM) and AquaLogic Service Bus (ALSB ) preferred
-Understanding of Service Bus concepts and implementations
-5 yrs combined development & support of complex high volume transactional systems
-7 years of combined programming/scripting experience in any of the common programming languages such as Java, C++ and scripting languages such as Perl, Shell, AWK etc
-5 years integrating Weblogic environments with monitoring platforms including the ues of custom scripts
-5 Years development or support experience with Oracle and MySQL
-7 years of Linux or Unix experience, Solaris preferred
-3 years XML messaging

 

 


Position : Peoplesoft HCM Developer

Location :

Duration : 6 + months

Need a senior level candidate; 8-10+ yrs.

Client : Cargill

Location : Minnetonka, MN. 

 

Principal Accountabilities:

 

75%  Application Development:

Review the PeopleSoft objects that have been identified and ensure that changes are made in order to continue to provide the desired functionality.  Interpret functional requirements and provide cost effective and technically efficient  solutions. 

 

20%  Application Testing:

During the testing process, provide support to functional users as they test and quickly provide modifications if flaws are identified.  Provide recommendations regarding procedures and deadlines. 

 

5%  Maintain project timekeeping and technical documentation per standards.  

 

Required

  • 5+ years of experience using PeopleSoft HCM version 8.8 or higher.
  • 1+ year experience using PeopleSoft 9.0 or higher
  • 3+ years of experience using PeopleTools version 8.49 or higher.
  • 5+ years Experience with PeopleSoft Integration Tools (Integration Broker, Component Interface)
  • 5+ years of Experience using the following PeopleSoft tools: SQR, People Tools, Application Engine  
  • Must have at least one application upgrade experience
  • Ability to work successfully in both a team environment and independently
  • Excellent organizational skills with proven, dependable follow-through
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with business peers, IT peers, and suppliers to identify technology solutions
  • Must have PeopleSoft development/support experience in at least two of the following areas: Payroll, Benefits Administration, , Enterprise Learning Management.
