Intro to WACAshare and MLK Observance

Welcome to the WACAshare mailing list. Some of you might be new to the
mailing list concept. It's pretty simple. You ask a question and it
gets sent to everyone on the list. Replies also go to everyone on the
list, so be careful not to send a personal message to the list
(although that happens occasionally!).

We're only at 13 members now, mostly board members. Hopefully area
reps will get the word out soon so others will join. I've asked Joe
Fenbert to include a blurb in next week's In the Loop about it and he
said he would. It'll take a while to get the ball rolling but I'm
hopeful that it will become a useful resource for folks across the
state.

A nice feature is that all messages are archived so people can come
back later and find information they are looking for in case they
delete the message on their computer. You can always find the group's
webpage using the link on the WACA website that says "Visit this
group" right next to the signup box.

So to demonstrate the mailing list here's the first question:

What, if anything, is your school doing in observance of the MLK
holiday? I'm curious to see what other building do.
