This Saturday, September 1^st, the Rotary Club of New Kent will be picking Norton Grapes in the New Kent Winery Vineyard along the east side of Vineyard Parkway just south of the route 249 Round-About.

 

We’ll meet at 6:45 AM and pick until we are through. The Winery will have coffee, juice and sweet-rolls waiting for us and they also will provide lunch. They will also have a port-a-john for us.

 

This is their largest field and we need as many pickers as we can get. We welcome any help we can get, even if it’s for an hour or two.

 

New Kent Winery is giving us $3,000 to do all of the picking this year and we are donating the money to the New Kent HS Band Boosters to add to the funds they are raising for BADLY NEEDED, new uniforms.

 

If you can help, please show up at any time that’s convenient and pick as long as you can.
