Job Description:
Our client is looking for a VMware Engineer to help support
our client’s growing customer base. This person responsible for assisting in
the design, deployment, maintenance and documentation of the entire production
VMware Infrastructure including Horizon View (VDI). In addition, this person
will be deploying virtual machines for Windows Server operating systems on a
regular basis.
Responsibilities:
- Capacity Planning for the VMware Environment
- Applying technical knowledge of networks, operating systems, utilities, etc. to the VMware environment
- Troubleshooting system performance within the VMware environment
- Analytical skills/understanding complex data
- Problem solving skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, in order to discuss/document technical information
- Organized and detail oriented with excellent time management skills
- Ability to multitask and handle urgent interruptions with poise and professionalism
- Flexible availability.
